[Lcdproc] Separate icon area: interface for drivers?

Hi Joris,

with softkeys I always have associated the idea of a menu controlled by 
keys. But this is not the regular case with pictograms.

Maybe you have further suggestions for a wording?

Or even better,  are you able - and willing - to sketch the softkey idea 
in the ideatorrent? What does the softkey symbol show? A symbol, a text? 
Is it fixed, selectable or progammable? Does the concept of softkey 
really mean the same as the notion of pictograms?

Feedback is welcome - and kindly asked for!
