 Yes you need to set them "y". You just set the startup & shutdown temps in
the conf file and
it takes care of the rest. I have mine come on at 95 and off at 85 (with
TempScale set to 'f'), but the FanMinSpeed is the one you'll
really have to customize. I have two very different fans on the controller
and one will come on at a speed of 20, but the other won't
start unless I set the minimum to 90 (out of 255). The speed values are a
range of 0-255 since the fan controller is capable of variable
speed control. If you don't want to bother you should be able to set the
minimum to 255 and just have them on at full speed all the time.
