Having mucked around in there in years past, let me say, *what fun*!

I have worked on a few of the serial-port-based drivers in the past
(MtxOrb and PIC-an-LCD, among others).  I still have all that hardware
(including the PIC-an-LCD), so I would like to see things cleaned up
and can test multiple drivers in various environments as needed.  I
can also assist with more than just testing if needed, but at a slower
pace.
