[Lcdproc] changes in CVS: HD44780 shake-up, ConnectionType mplay

Hi List,

here's another round of changes worthy menioning here.

Today I overhauled the data structures related to the detechtion of connection 
types in the HD44780 driver.
This changes allowed me to remove some old cruft and clean up really ugly 
hack, I introduced when I wrote my 1st driver for LCDproc.

Using the changed infrastructure I adapted the ConnectionType detection for 
the serial connection types.

Finally, based on the work of Sean Meiners, I added the new 
ConnectionType "mplay" for VLSystems MPlay Blast displays.

So, everyone with a hd44780 display, especially those with a serial one or a 
LIS2 or MPLay Blast, plase test and report feedback.

the "mplay" connection type was not added as a separate source file, but as an 
alternative connection type in the hd44780-lis2 file, without the fan and 
temperature stuff.
I'd rather not put in the temp and fan stuff for MPlay into the hd44780 driver 
by default, but I am not opposed to distributing a patch in the contrib/ 
directory of the LCDproc distribution.
