Hey guys, maybe someone can share some light into the issues I am
having. New installation of 0.5.2 and 0.5.1 and I get some malformed
characters on the screen. Particularly the letter V appears at the very
first position on the screen and where I think the cursor location is.=20
=20
I have to use 0..5.0 or older to get some decent screens.=20
=20
My config is pretty standard. Centos 4.5, serial on ttyS0 on a Lenovo
computer so I would imagine the hardware should be good to go. The
LCDd.conf is taken from the sample config and the only change I made was
the driver to be Mtxorb and the type for lcd.
=20
I have also tried changing the mtxorb.c code for the initialization
string cfsetispeed as below without any results.=20
=20
//cfsetispeed(&portset, B0);
cfsetispeed (&portset, speed);
=20
I have searched for a while without having any success at it. Anyone
with similar experiences or a way to troubleshoot this?
=20
=20
Regards,
=20
Paul
