I recently moved from a 32bit FC5 box to a 64bit FC6 box (clean install,
2.6.19.2 kernel) and have just got out my old winamp HD44780 LCD that
worked flawlessly before.
I compiled the nightly build of 0.5 from a few days ago and fired LCDd
up. Everything looks OK. However after a few minutes my PC locks up
hard, no way out but to reset the PC. I only have one PC so I can't ssh
in to check on things.
If I don't have LCDd and lcdclient running the PC is completely stable.
In fact if I use lcd4linux it is also stable.
Any ideas on where the problem could be or where to start looking (I
know this is a vague question)?
Thanks in advance,
Kim
