Implemented. http://www.bwalle.de/temp/lcd-stuff-0.1.3-pre.tar.bz2

Now lcd-stuff has a network interface if enabled via '[network]' in
the configuration file. The source distribution contains an example
program in Python to use that network interface.

Please understand that I want to keep this simple. I don't want to
create another clone of mpd. ... :-)
