LCDproc 0.5.x does not contain a sasem driver.
Maybe you run an older version ?

Unfortunately you are very discreet about your environment,
making it very hard to help you in a reasonable way.

Could be please elaborate a bit more about your environment
(i.e. operating system, software and versions) you use ?

Here are a few things to test:
Does the problem also occur if you run LCDd alone (i.e. without clients) ?
Does the problem also occur if you run LCDd with the curses driver ?
