Hi
=20
I guess Lanner sells OEM products from Nexcom (http://www.nexcom.com) - =
I see
that these devices have a lot in common (e.g. NSA-1045 from Nexcom). =
They call
their LCD board "LCM-162" which seems to be controlled by a HD44780. I =
also had
no luck with lcdproc (compiles fine, but LCD remains "blank")...
=20
I asked earlier (last month) on this mailinglist.. If anyone is =
interested, I have a Linux
source code driver provided by Nexcom (which is useless for me since I =
use FreeBSD).
=20
Any hints apprecieated..
=20
Regards,
Reto

		Yeah, this is something that has been happening for a while. I don't=20
		think that it is related with your problem but I commited a fix =
anyway.=20
		I updated the nightly tarballs if you want to try it:
		http://lcdproc.sourceforge.net/nightly/lcdproc-CVS-stable-0-5-x.tar.gz
	=09

	It works, the warning messages disappeared, thanks.
=09
	I made several tests with the curses driver and the problem only occurs =
with the hd44780 drivers... I'm digging in the direction of a specific =
hardware problem since my box is a bit special (Lanner 7550 x86 =
appliance =
http://www.lannerinc.com/product_detail.php?products_id=3D160&cPath=3D85)=
.=20
=09
	I tried each of the LPT ports, with ou wihtout the "extended mode", =
none of them works.
