So I ran LCDd with the iMon driver. Then I used lcdproc to connect to it.
Locked the display in about ... 20 seconds. lcdproc seems more ...
intensive it what it sends to the display, thus hurrying the locking
along. Another run took longer ... maybe almost a minute.
LCDd left by itself, seems to run forever. I turned on the 'heartbeat' so
it would change the display more often.
Again, killing / restarting makes lcdproc go again for a while. This seems
so be something happening between LCDd and clients that's going wrong.
