If your LCD is connected to the parallel port, the ConnectionType=bwctusb
setting in your LCDd.conf is wrong.
Try one of the connection types for parallal connection (they require 
different wiring between the parallel port and your LCD).
The most likely ones are: 4bit, 8bit or winamp.

Please use Port=0x378 (the number may vary) for a connection to the parallel 
port.
