Thanks so much for the replay. It seems that it didn't help. I checked in
the bios and the port is set to 0x378 so that is correct. I tried all of the
different connection Types as you said, and it didn't seem to help. On some
of them i got a
hd44780: unknown ConnectionType: bwctusb
Driver [hd44780] init failed, return code < 0
Could not load driver hd44780
There is no output driver
Critical error while initializing, abort.
I not sure what i am doing wrong. Currently i have the
Device=/dev/parport0
Do i need to have it to something else or do i need to commite it out ?
Is there anyway to see if it is finding the device or any other information
that can help with what is going wrong ?
