I am new to LCDPROC it seemes really powerful and look really forward
in running it, but i seem to be having so much issues getting it up
and running. I have just received a Nexgate system with a LCM (based
on the HD44780) installed in it. I have installed lcdproc it compiles
no problem, but when it runes it just don't seem to work. I have
changed the
ConnectionType= 4bit
Port=0x378
Tried
/dev/parport0
and
/dev/lcd
speed=0
Keypad=yes
Contrast=0
OutputPort=no
Size=16x2
charmap=hd44780_default
DelayBus=true
I not sure if anyone else has proclcd running on a nexgate system. I
would really appreciate some help on this. I have tested the lcd4linux
on this system and there driver LCM-162 works like a charm in running
the LCD pointing the to /dev/parport, but it is not as powerful with
the keypad as lcdproc is.
OS on the system is Debian
Thanks a Lot for the Help.
