[Lcdproc] Problems with Pyramid LCD

Hello

I am using a Pyramid box and having some trouble. Things compiled fine 
and run fine, except I get the following error

pyramid: open(/dev/ttyUSB0) failed: No such device
Driver [pyramid] init failed, return code < 0
Could not load driver pyramid
There is no output driver
Critical error while initializing, abort.

A quick look in /dev shows that the device exists

# ls /dev | grep USB
ttyUSB0
ttyUSB1

Any advice that you could offer would be great. Thanks
