In the nightly tar balls of the current CVS available from
http://lcdproc.sourceforge.net/nightly/lcdproc-CVS-current.tar.gz
lcdexec is documented by a nicve man page and a well documented
sample confiugration file (lcdexec.conf) that gets installed automatically
