It is my understanding that this can be changed on runtime, so why 
not make a '--bind' argument to make LCDd bind to a specific NIC. 
That way, people who only want to use it on one computer will use the 
loopback interface, but people who want to use the LCDproc with 
several sources will have to specifiy it to LCDd with this argument.

This seems okay with me: we don't loose any functionnality, and we 
gain more security.
