I already mentioned that in a good implementation a hash can always be
added without other code changes. It's optimization. It really wont
take more then 2 microseconds to find the correct word from the tables
without a hash. So what are we talking about...

Ah, I did not get the question right, and I gave a stupid answer !
But I don't think it matters much.
