I received the new LCD displays yesterday, and they work fine with
LcdProc/linux. My CrystalFontz bios version is : KD204-634v1.3 (It's a
20x4 backlit display).

What exactly is your Bios version, and have you tested it with the
windows test program you can find on crystalfontz's web site ?
