Actually it may be better to look at using libgtop for stats in v0.5. libgtop supports more OS's than we do and has the advantage of allowing us to support any extra OS's/features as soon as it does.
I've actually had a look at it already for v0.4 but it looks to be a fairly major change so it may be best to leave to v0.5
