[lcdproc] FW: version 0.4/0.5?

Hello,
I very happy to see that a few e-mail can keep us moving.
Shouldn't we make a TODO list for 0.4 that can list whatever need to be done
for 0.4 to be releasable as a non pre stuff.

>From what I know this is a start:
 * Solaris port.
 * Gather all the patch from everybody and integrate them.
 * Check on IRMP3 mailing list for the lcdproc bug they complain about
    (As far as I know they recommand an old version to avoid the problem).
    I am currently asking the question.
 * Contact Richard Rognlie for the GIF driver.
 * Merge common code in various driver (Custom Graphic usage cache).

I know that Richard Rognlie (rrognlie@gamerz.net) has (or had) a gif output
http://www.gamerz.net/rrognlie/projects.html but I wonder if he did not lost
the source in an HD crash. Did anybody saw the driver, was it posted?

Hi all,

I can do some coding on the drivers for v0.4 . There is plenty of code 
everywhere, it need to be combined (which will not always be simple).
