[lcdproc] FW: version 0.4/0.5?

On the vote:

I'd like you to continue working on 0.5.  This code is very hackish and we 
definitely need the new version out ASAP.  Since this means a non-supported 
version of 0.4, I think one of us should take over support until 0.5 gets 
released.

I'd like to personally volunteer for this.  I've spent the last several 
weeks hacking up lcdproc, including writing a whole new driver for it (note 
to those who didn't receive my previous e-mail: CrystalFontz changed their 
BIOS and is no longer compatible with MatrixOrbital.)

So, I think I have enough familiarity with the code to at least hold down 
the fort until v0.5 is released...

thoughts?  comments?  suggestions?
