>From the page at matrixorbital, it appears to have a header to connect
to a keypad matrix.  A quick glance did not show what pins would be used
for the matrix, but if there are 16 pins, a good bet would be 8 out and
8 back in.  You might want to dig deeper on their site for details.
BTW, I am using a parallel port LCD (8-bit winamp connection) with a
3x3 matrix.  I believe the code for parallel port and keys is in
CVS (I am using a hacked version outside of lcdproc).
