[lcdproc] LCDProc: Broken pipe??

Hi All!

I just found this software.. Looks great! I was looking for something that
could drive that HD44780-based panel that I had lying around, and it works
great at that! I made the cable with no problems at all, I just had to
figure out how to get the backlight running (Which was: 5 volts at pin 15
and GND at pin 16).

The server also works. But.. The client lcdproc doesnt! It will display one
screen, and then it gives a 'broken pipe' error. The server will then go
back to the server screen. I'm using 0.4-pre9. Does anyone know a solution
for this? I can give more details if you want them. (Like that I'm running
RedHat 6.1 with 2.2.12-20 kernel on a 486 with 16MB).

I think I'll go and develop some clients myself as well. Before my current
platform I used a laptop with an LCD screen. I used that to give status
messages as well, just as LCDproc, but also things like last syslog lines
and other events. The LCD screen is too small for this, but maybe I can
figure something out..

Greetings,
