I had a Supra V34 Modem with a 1*2 Display, and it was possible to send
Strings to it via AT commands, which was then rotated.
Maybe your modem has a feature like this.

If not maybe its a HDxxxx derivate...

btw, i think i will use libradio, but i have no idea about rds and
radio/video
cards. Anybody using Hauppauge tv/radio and RDS?
