Thanks for reminding me.

I've put the most recent Client/Server protocol spec online, and it
contains everything lcdproc-specific you should need to know to make a
client.  There is no source code there, but we may soon put up examples
of how to handle sockets in various languages.  The protocol is designed
for ease of development and flexibility, since there isn't much network
overhead.

The LCDproc main client will be written in C, but other languages such
as Perl, tcl, etc.. should work as well.  

As soon as V0.4 is out, we'll include all known clients on the download
page.  I'm hoping to write a CD-player client and a Quake2 client after
the main stat-gathering client is out.


For other news, v0.4 will support multiple input/output drivers
simultaneously, and drivers for joystick, MesaGL (dual-monitor), X11,
and more LCD's are planned, along with input additions to existing
drivers.
